On the 3rd of July 2024, the National Industrial Court of Nigeria (NICN), per Prof Elizabeth A. Orji, J, in the case of Bukonla Abimbola vs NNPC & Anor (Suit No. NICN/LA/416/2020), delivered an interesting judgement on the nature of a contract employment.
