In 1987, the firm was established by the trio of Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Oludotun Kukoyi, and Floretta Adokpaye as Osinbajo, Kukoyi, and Adokpaye, a law firm known to have distinguished itself in the fine ethics of legal practice. A corporate restructuring in the new millennium birthed a novel practice named Hermon Legal Practitioners (Hermon) in the year 2000. Under the management of the dynamic duo of Benjamin Obidegwu and Phil Enwegbara, Hermon is currently structured as a medium-sized law firm with principal operations in the commercial capital city of Lagos and an affiliate arrangement in the capital city of Abuja in Nigeria.
